Why was the Incarnation of Jesus the only way God could save His people from sin?

Why do we love to rank things? Why do we love to make statements like, "This is the world's best cup of coffee?" We are constantly setting ourselves up above or below others. We all compare ourselves to others, but is it constructive? Is it beneficial?

Many of the heroes of the Bible are not natural-born leaders - they're underdogs. Why is this and what can we learn from them? 

Justice is as much a part of the Gospel as salvation: Jesus came to set right everything sin destroyed. When we ignore justice, or treat it as an extra credit option, we leave a hole in the Gospel.

What are we to do when God asks us to do something that is not in our own benefit? How are we to serve Christ when it is difficult and even costly? 

Praise flows out of a heart of worship and manifests itself in our voices and bodies. In this sermon, Chris discusses why God requires passionate praise and what the benefits are for us.

We will not live a fruitful life by our own strength or ingenuity. Paradoxically, we bear fruit by abiding in Jesus. Apart from him, we can do nothing. 

Jesus called us to make disciples. In H2O, we believe that the best way to grow as disciples is in circles not rows. And we facilitate that growth through our core groups.  

God calls us to a life of holiness. But what does it really mean "to be holy?"
